Biofuel bunkers
Description
Biofuel bunkers are designed for drying loose materials or for installation next to a standing boiler. The bunkers operate on the principle of gas generation. Biofuel bunkers are designed to burn solid fuel up to 55% moisture content.
Biofuel bunkers are manufactured with a power range from 1000 kW to 6000 kW. The solid fuel used is wood chips and residual shredded wood.
Bunker specification and functions:
- The bunker operates on the principle of direct combustion, based on gas generation.
- Biofuel bunkers are designed to burn solid fuel up to 55% moisture content.
- The bunker is divided into 3 interconnected zones: 1) drying; 2) fuel pushing; 3) combustion.
- Fuel is delivered to the bunker mechanically, using a hydraulic fuel feed device.
- The bunker is of the moving grate type.
- The bunker can be cooled by air or thermofication, depending on the existing system.
- An automatic ash removal system allows for quick and easy removal of ash from the combustion process.
Boiler automation control capabilities:
- Operation of the fuel storage and conveyors.
- Fuel dosing into the bunker.
- Hydraulic system for the grate.
- Ash removal from under the grate.
- Maintenance of the set draft in the bunker.
- Smoke recirculation (optional).
- Sending emergency messages via GSM.
- The combustion process is automatically controlled throughout the load range, according to the set bunker parameters.
- Remote control of the bunker (via the internet).
