Introduction of digital technologies by UAB “ANTARA LT”

UAB “ANTARA LT” is a sheet metal processing company located in Ukmergė, which started its operations in 1997.

The company started to manufacture domestic solid fuel boilers from the beginning of its establishment. During the entire period of operation, it has refined and expanded its production and has successfully started working in the field of industrial boilers since 2010. Has been working in the field of metal processing since 2016 and provides the following services: Metal cutting, folding, CNC milling and turning, welding, designing.

The company is constantly investing in the modernisation and development of metal processing production technologies, constantly looking for new ideas, improving its products and expanding the range thereof.

The aim of the project is to implement digital production technologies based on the findings of the technological audit, which would help increase the productivity of the company. Digital transformation will make production processes in the company more transparent, easy to manage and optimized. It will also enable the company to significantly increase productivity and reduce the use of human resources in the product development stages. The project aims at long-term goals: increasing productivity, reducing labour costs, increasing product quality. For the reasons mentioned above, it is necessary for the company to increase production capacity, which the ongoing project is aimed at, during which new equipment will be purchased and old equipment will be replaced with the modern one complying with the up-to-date requirements.

The budget for the execution of the project – EUR 532,590.00; the amount of funding received is EUR 239,815.50, financed from the European Regional Development Fund.

Project implementation period from May 2020 to May 2023.

The project is implemented under the 2014-2020 European Union Funds Investment Operational Program Priority 3 “Promotion of Small and Medium Business Competitiveness” measure No 03.3.1-LVPA-K-854 “Industrial Digitization LT”.

Regio potential LT

On purpose to increase the efficiency of the company, UAB “ANTARA LT” is implementing the project “Introduction of modern technologies in the production process of UAB “ANTARA LT” and increase of the productivity of the company” No 03.3.1-LVPA-K-850-01-0168 financed from the European Regional Development Fund.

With the development of new technologies, the company constantly monitors the ongoing processes and tries to keep pace with the latest trends in the production sector. The state-of-the-art technologies are already applied in the production process of the company. Analysing the ongoing production processes, we realised that the capacities of the company are no longer sufficient to receive and execute all orders even working in two shifts. This process is influenced not only by all utilized production capacities of the company, but also by the fact that the part of the equipment used in the production process is very outdated and inefficient and does not ensure the required quality of production, and in order to obtain it, employees have to spend more time on one or another operation.

For the reasons mentioned above, it is necessary for the company to increase its production capacity, which is the aim of the ongoing project, during which new equipment will be purchased and old equipment will be replaced with a modern one complying with the contemporary requirements.

The project aims at long-term goals: increasing productivity, reducing labour costs, increasing product quality.

The project budget makes EUR 1,011,199.00; the amount of funding received is up to EUR 455,039.00.

Project implementation period from April 2019 to April 2021.

New opportunities LT

On purpose to increase the exports of the company, UAB “ANTARA LT” has implemented the project “Increasing the export of UAB ANTARA LT by participating in international exhibitions” No 03.2.1-LVPA-K-801-05-0022 financed from the European Regional Development Fund.

The company sees potential and opportunity to seek notoriety of the production not only in Lithuania but also in foreign markets, thus seeking export growth. The aim of the project was to present the products of the company in international exhibitions taking place abroad, to find new markets where the products could be sold and to invest the return received therefrom to the development of the company.

The project budget makes EUR 73,486.00; the amount of funding received is up to EUR 36,743.00.
