Condensing economizers

The condensing economizer is designed for additional heat extraction from the outgoing boiler combustion products, while simultaneously cooling them and cleaning them from solid particles by washing with water. The economizer is installed in the flue gas system after the ash multi-cyclone.

The efficiency of the condensing economizer can be up to 27%, depending on:

• flue gas temperature;
• fuel moisture content;
• return water temperature (38-48°C);
• oxygen content in the flue gas.

A heat exchanger is installed in the inner part, through which the return water from the heating system circulates. This circulating water cools the combustion products.

The combustion products entering the condenser are sprayed with water. The solid smoke particles, after being moistened, settle in the condensate collection tank, and the cleaned combustion products exit the economizer.
