Laser cutting

We cut various materials: steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass. We use “AMADA LCG – 3015 AJ 4 kW” laser machine for cutting. We can accurately and providing high quality cut steel up to 25 mm thick, stainless steel and aluminum up to 20 mm thick, bronze, copper, titanium and brass blanks up to 10 mm. The maximum size of the cut sheet is 3000×1500.

Laser cutting guidelines

When you start laser cutting, it’s essential to follow the correct laser cutting guidelines. These guidelines help the

process run more efficiently and accurately, resulting in a higher quality end product. Our detailed delivery specifications provide clear instructions for achieving optimal results.

Burr and Spatter

During laser cutting, small burrs or spatter residue may appear on the underside of the material. The size of this burr depends on the thickness and type of material. If you require a smooth finish, select the edge finishing option when placing your order.

Microjoints

For optimal stability during the laser cutting process, we use microjoints. These small connections prevent the product from shifting or falling. In some cases, this can result in small protrusions on the product. We often choose to leave these exposed in openings.

 

Minimum hole and slot sizes

Holes in steel, stainless steel, and aluminum are cut to a minimum diameter to ensure quality. Slots are cut in the same way to ensure the desired quality. If holes or slots are too small to cut, laser engraving is automatically used to create these markings.
